The first documented book of botanical illustration was printed in the year 512. By depicting the flora in images, these plant anthologies were able to be used by herbalists regardless of the language they spoke or their level of literacy. This was especially important considering the plants were being consumed and used for medicinal purposes. Centuries later, botanical illustrations remain the most popular form of wall art, capturing our attention with their delicate nostalgia. Perhaps it has something to do with the expression a picture says a thousand words. How do you express yourself without words?
Oftentimes, there really are no words for how we feel. Sketching, painting, and other visual artforms are an enriching process of self-expression. Use these tropical blossoms as inspiration for your next crafternoon. Tropiflora's green hues mixed with perfect pops of orange are what make this print so appealing.
Our peel and stick, removable wallpaper is a proprietary product made from 100% polyester fabric with a removable self-adhesive opaque backing for easy application on a wide variety of surfaces. We also offer a commercial grade "type II" fire-rated wallpaper that is more suited for textured or "orange peel" surfaces (wallpaper paste/adhesive required, see our FAQ for more details).
We highly recommend ordering a sample prior to placing your order. This will help to ensure you are happy with the print, color, and scale of the pattern. Additionally, the sample will help to determine if the product works well with your wall surface.
