Herringbone Black and White is a simple, organic painterly style. This design could work in a number of spaces, bringing a contemporary look to your home. Herringbone in textiles refers to a weaving pattern that resembles the skeleton of the herring fish, hence the name herring-bone. The idea of skeletons usually evokes spooky images of haunted houses at Halloween. However, in Korean folklore for example, a skeleton represents transformation and a gateway between the spirit and the body.

Have you ever had a dream about a skeleton? This might mean that you are too hard on yourself and overly self-critical. From textiles to fish to folklore, the Herringbone design is a roundabout way of reminding you that things are not as scary as they seem, and that you always have permission to treat yourself with loving kindness.

We highly recommend ordering a sample prior to placing your order. This will help to ensure you are happy with the print, color, and scale of the pattern. Additionally, the sample will help to determine if the product works well with your wall surface.

  • Returns/Exchanges

If you are not satisfied for any reason with the design, color or quality of your order, we are happy to offer exchanges on any unused product. Because all products are made to order, we are unable to accept returns and/or issue refunds. For this reason, we strongly urge you to order a sample first to ensure your satisfaction. Keep in mind there can be a slight color variance from batch to batch as a result of the digital printing process.
