Art Deco was the first truly international design style, born at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts held in Paris in 1925. Its pioneers were influenced by French Art Nouveau, German Bauhaus, African-inspired Cubism, and the Russian Ballet. Interwoven in all of these modern movements were also inspirations from American Indigenous societies, and ancient Mayan and Egyptian culture. The color teal also has a strong cross-cultural significance due to its unique and nuanced symbolism.
Teal is a secondary color, meaning it blends the respective calming and renewal properties of the primary colors blue and green. It is no wonder that teal represents complex concepts such as sophistication and communication. How can you alchemize your diversity of experiences into deep, meaningful teachings? Or perhaps listen a little closer to the experiences of other people and cultures to enrich and enlighten your own worldview?
Regardless of the distance of space or time, humanity has always found avenues for blending, communication, and sharing. Whether internally or externally, WallBliss invites you to explore, gather, mix, and enjoy.
